Wasn't what i thought. The strawberries rhey give you with rhis voucher you can buy at any store. They're not even ripe yet. They have some kid rides which was great. Free bounce houses. Hirse rides for 5 dollars. Petting zoo another five. Not much to do with strawberries. Just strawberry margaritas and chocolate dip strawberries and strawberry crepes. But my son has fun with the rides and games
Very expensive n most booths didn't even use fresh strawberries. Hardly any boothes
There was nothing but food booths and a few lame rides.
Had a lot of fun! The kids loved the rides. Would love to see more strawberry food & drinks from the venders. Strawberry lemonade or cheesecake. Strawberry pie! Strawberry shortcake! All in all it was fun and interesting. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends and our family will be going again next year. Another thought I had is it would be nice to be able to buy strawberry plants to take home and plant.
The festival is very small and there aren't very many strawberry themed items. I felt like I was at the Galt flea market mixed with a small carnival. With the Groupon the admission price was very cheap so we didn't spend much money but our expectations still weren't met. I don't imagine we'll go back in future years without some drastic improvements. There's so many things that can be made of strawberries so it was sad to only see a small section and a handful of booths with strawberry items.
Staff was friendly and grounds looked nice. Rides & midway games have been very limited the past 2 years. Very few strawberry related vendors
Get better directions than on the site.
The Strawberry Festival was not all that it was advertised to be. Hardly any booths, mostly food trucks, hardly any people & to top it off they ran out of the free pint of strawberries that was to come with the purchase of the tickets! Why? When there were hardly any people to begin with? Even though, it was fine to get out & walk around, it was NOT was I was expecting & I felt ripped off not getting the pint of strawberries that was promoted... After all it was the Strawberry Festival so WHY would they run out of strawberries?
I had expectations of a more Farmer's Market style Festival, with lots of tastings and foods involving strawberries. It was more of a carnival atmosphere with more midway-style food vendors. The car show was good, though.
They were closed when we got there and it was 2 hrs before closing time.
