Friendly people and will honor your coupon
Food was fair, ran out some of food on a Friday night or Sunday night but the service was very good.
awesome. friendly people. decent food.
Great & honest service. Expect to stay for long because they make their food to order.
The way the Groupon deal was presented was deceiving. I did not get the discount that I expected.
Very expensive, however the quality of fresh ingredients was worth it (every now-n-then a person can splurge a little). The chef (funny) and server (nice) were great.
Food is excellent. They got a bad wrap by a few people when they first opened - because SO MANY people bought the Groupon and expected too much. Like no wait.
Sushi's quality is higher compared to other places.
Small and cozy place to go for sushi lovers. Prompt and courteous service by staff. They don't (not yet pending issuance of license) serve beer, which I got frustrated coz I love my sushis with beer.

At Sakana-Ya, skilled sushi chefs slice up fresh morsels of seafood for delicate meals or all-you-can-eat feasts. During all-you-can-eat sushi chowdowns, customers pay a flat fee for as much fresh seafood and inventive maki combinations as their appetite and rapidly melting ice chopsticks allow. Specialty and classic maki rolls bring cuts of spicy tuna, salmon, scallop together with garnishes such as cream cheese or Anaheim pepper in a savory hug of rice and seaweed, and a la carte bites tempt diners with pieces of albacore, octopus, eel, and yellowtail.
