For many, Mexican food doesn't extend past fish tacos and ground-beef burritos. The chefs at Masaryk Mexican Kitchen, however, have a deep appreciation for traditional Mexican cooking. Meals may start with classic ceviche blanco—white fish cooked in key lime juice with red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic arbol chili salsa. Main plates can be filled by a healthy serving of arrachera steak fajita: grilled hangar steak with sautéed onions and peppers alongside rice and beans, guacamole, and house-made molcajete sauce. To achieve the best flavor in all these traditional dishes, Masaryk strives to cull as much of its produce, meats, and cheeses from local.
