For more than 35 years, Enmar Hardwood Flooring has perfected a comprehensive approach to hardwood distribution, design, and installation, alongside an on-going commitment to craftsmanship and customer service that earned the company a slew of awards from the National Wood Flooring Association. Ennis Thompson opened the business in 1975, passing it down to his son, Todd, and Todd's wife, Tricia, who pioneered the company’s line of reclaimed wood floors and documented it in an article for Hardwood Floors Magazine](http://gr.pn/w2HUee). A 5,000-square-foot showroom exhibits the entire stock of floors, which includes both prefinished and unfinished options, each pulled directly from America’s leading mills and manufacturers without passing through a middleman or forcing them to sneak out after curfew.
Vowing never to use subcontractors, Enmar's deft craftsmen perform all maintenance and installation services, and have proven their abilities by creating custom, detailed inlays and refurbishing the heavily trafficked courts of sports venues and sports venues that double as traffic courts. Always putting their customers' satisfaction and safety first, the business also calls upon the talents of in-house design partner, Janice Brewster of First Impressions, to help homeowners create custom flooring patterns during free preliminary consultations. Workers performing refinishing services employ a dust-containment system that satisfies indoor-air-quality standards.
