My daughter and I had a groupon for a gel manicure. The salon was nice, the nail tech was very nice. She was a people person. However, my nails were a little rough, but the manicure we received was less than impressive. There was no soaking the our nails, and the polish does not cover the entire nail. The ends of my nails are bare.....

My stylist was kind, as were the girls at reception/phone; really the only reason for at 3 stars. Other than that, it was not a great experience. We were able to laugh & connect, and this review definitely is not personal, I just will keep looking for my "forever" stylist match. The place was quaint & cute. Comfortable atmosphere w/ a kind staff. The skill level isn't the issue but it seemed as if maybe the amount of vouchers purchased, had the crew extra busy. Maybe too busy?? I was going to buy this deal back right b4 xmas but called 1st to see if they could get me in that day. I was told that it'd be tight and she'd recommend me being able to come in when they had plenty of time so I could "take part in their entire experience & enjoy it". I was very happy with her honesty & told her I'd definitely come in at a later date :) Needless to say, I was sooo looking forward to what sounded like a great treat for myself! Sadly, not what I got. Feeling rushed stinks and having a finished product show it, stinks even more :( The pics I brought were quickly looked at. She quickly said either my or the girl in the picture, I don't remember which of us she spoke about (again, rushed), had too big of a forehead for the bangs pictured. I reminded her I wanted the cut, but not the bangs... I wanted my side bangs back. She said, "Oh right, ok, no problem". Fast forward to bang cut time: Bam! She took a quick cut straight across! "Oh, is that ok?" Welp, too late now. I repeatedly mentioned side bangs :( The "conditioning treatment" in the offer was nothing more than a QUICK drizzle after the shampoo. The color cost me an extra $60?! Yes, I did agree during the consult, but only b/c it sounded like I'd definitely be getting my highlights closer to the color I wanted from my last stylist, but didn't get. Unfortunately same outcome here. Didn't finish with the color I asked for... or the color she told me I'd be better off with b/c, "she couldn't make the existing blond highlights a bit darker, more caramel" like I originally wanted. Luckily the orangey, brassy-ness washed out in about 2weeks. Normally, color washing out sucks, but in this case I was relieved! The cut was ok. Not exactly what I asked for or showed pics of, but the quality was there. Same with the color, definitely quality work :) just not what I asked for or thought I was getting even after the consult. I didn't say much before I left b/c I didn't feel it could be fixed. I'm sure my disappointment was visible... You can tell when a stylist may feel that the finished product didn't come out the way you wanted. She didn't have one of those "proud of my work" moments while showing me the final mirror around the sides & back of my head. She didn't even offer her card or hours like I always get at other salons. Like I said, she was very kind :) She kept our convo minimal, which I do enjoy. Being able to just kinda relax, especially coming straight from work, is perfect to me. As long as the initial consultation has me convinced we are on the same page, which it definitely did. Unfortunately, the final page did not match up to the first :( Oh, and good thing something told me to wear an only $7 t-shirt over a tank I really like. When I got home my husband said, "I hope you don't love the shirt you're wearing". I took it off, puzzled, and saw it was ruined! There was dye all over the back of it! I've never had that happen. What the heck was the cape for?! I help my disabled mom with highlights & color on the back of her head where she can't reach, and neither of us ever get more than a drop on the towel around her neck. This was a lot of dye, in a few different spots :( Like I said, good thing I wore a cheap shirt lol! I certainly wasn't expecting that! Overall, the place was full of happy & what seemed like repeat, customers. I'm guessing this was an isolated incident but enough to keep me from returning. Wish my stylist of 4 years never had to move for her husband's job. Guess it's back to looking for a new one :( Thank you tho, D'Nicole Salon & Spa, all of your gals were kind. It did help w/ that part of my salon anxiety and for that, I thank you :)

Ashley, who did my nails, was very helpful, honest, and friendly. I wanted to get a French with the gel but she suggested to not go for it because they chip quicker. I appreciated her honesty so I went for a solid color. There were not many purples to choose from since a couple of them had some sparkle to it but Ashley was very helpful on helping me find the best color. The nail work itself i was not pleased with. Friends told me they look terrible and to get them redone because it looks like my sister did them. I'm disappointed with the manicure. I can see why this place seeks to promote their business on Groupon.

The hair dresser was very rude about the fact that i was using a Groupon and refused to do my hair how i asked to have it done.

The staff is very friendly and most competent! For years I had manicures and pedicures where the price was cheap but I walked away with nips/tears in my cuticles. At DiNicole Salon they are licensed professionals. I recommend them highly!

I used the Groupon for full highlights, conditioning treatment, and hair cut. Ashley Lord did an amazing job on my hair and everyone there was very professional. It was my first time there and will continue to go there because of the great service I received. I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you Ashley for a great experience!!!
