Beast Escape Room's flagship game centers on a classic conflict: the power of friendship vs. the power of locked doors. In this multi-room game, players must break into a room to rescue their trapped friends, then lead the whole group to freedom in under an hour. If players' eyes are keen, they'll find tools and clues in each room, but still, a lot of doors stand between participants and success.
It's not as hopeless as it sounds, though. Founders Kyle and Ryan know puzzle-based games inside and out, and they've engineered this one to be fun—knowing full well that unwinnable games are anything but. Hence their two-way monitors, which show guests how much time they have left and keep staffers abreast of the game's progress. If the players are struggling, staffers will offer a new hint or tip, rather than just watching everybody struggle and slowly grow Rip Van Winkle–style beards.
