To best understand Mountain Tap Bar & Grill’s union of Greek and American bar food, look no further than the gyro burger. Served on pita bread, each patty arrives infused with gyro meat and topped with tzatziki sauce. The rest of the menu likewise falls along this Greek-American spectrum with options such as steak fries topped with melted feta and beef kabobs doused in creamed cabernet horseradish sauce.
Bartenders accompany these meaty main courses by whipping up mixed drinks at a wood-paneled bar until 2 a.m. every night. In between drinking and feasting, visitors to Mountain Tap can watch sports on TVs or start up a game of their own--the bar features billiards tables, darts, and air hockey.
