Chef Robert LaTour combines fresh game from land and sea to create delicate dining-room fare, and casual cravings can be sated in the pub. The dining-room dinner menu includes such mergers of ocean and earth as the tournedos oscar, a jaunty juxtaposition of crab meat and béarnaise sauce riding the bucking back of two 4-ounce Black Angus filet mignons ($35). Broiled with lemon sauce and butter, the fresh whitefish ($18) melts in the mouth as quickly as intentions to ask out a yoga instructor. Finally, a slice of lush, strawberry-topped cheesecake ($6) satisfyingly rounds out a meal of the refined nature. The pub menu's eclectic offerings include a viscid signature sandwich, the inn burger, complete with cheddar cheese, savory canadian bacon, and sweet sautéed onions ($8.95), and multi-person platters such as the cheese and wine for two, an assortment of sliced cheeses; goat cheese and blue-cheese spread; bread and crackers; and a bottle of the house red or white wine ($22).
