R. Haus, Grants Pass

R. Haus is located right on Rogue River inside the historic Locoda Fishing Lounge, which was known to fisherman in the '30s and '40s as a comfortable place where they could put their feet up and dry their waterlogged sailing tuxedos. Remodeled in 1972 and again in 2013, the restaurant is different from how it looked many decades ago, but it's still designed to be a homey, cozy hangout where live music, warm service, and artfully curated menus send worries out the door. Local craft beers and specialty cocktails comprise the bar menu, while pub-style snacks and entrees—wings, caesar salads, mushroom swiss burgers, and pork chops—make up the list of chow.
