The instructors at JMH CrossFit lead workouts designed to tone and strengthen people of all ages and fitness levels through functional training—customized exercises that burn calories and build muscle through fast-paced 30- to 60-minute workouts. Instead of sitting in static equipment, the functional exercises keep bodies moving to constantly engage muscles throughout the body instead of just one group at a time. The workouts combine body-weight training, running, and jumping with free weights and power lifting to prep bodies for real-life activities, like running to catch a bus and then casually lifting it up by the bumper. Participants can also opt for personal training or small group sessions limited to five people or less for more individual guidance.
