They are amazing. Our granddaughter loves instructor Courtney she is amazing with kids
We love it here. You can pay as you go, drop in whenever you want, and move up levels when ever your child is ready!!!
Instructors were great and kind. Thirty min is just a tad bit too short of a lesson. With getting there and showering after it takes much more time before and after than the actual lesson.
this felt like a scam. when I purchased this it said my kids could attend a class at barlow high school. I tried several times to set the appt but the only number provided was for Reynolds swim center. when I called them they told me I had to call barlow but could not provide me with a number. when I found the number on my own they said I had to call Reynolds. long story short it expired and I got burned. no lessons for my kids. SCAM
Great swim lessons! Love the small class size!
Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I am now a repeat patron. I am about to sign my son and grandchildren up for a third set (4 lessons). They all started at different levels of comfort in the water, they all have different attention spans/energy levels and they are all making great progress.
The instructor didn't pay enough attention to realize that my 5 year old, who was having a hard time even hanging on to the kickboard, could not swim out on her own. He didn't even bother to look & see that she fell off her board & went under. I saw that she was struggling & had to run over screaming before he could even notice. They gave me a taste of a mother's worst nightmare!
From Our Editors
At pools in Portland, Gresham, and Fairview, MHA Swim School's instructors help budding water sprites feel comfortable in the water by teaching them swimming basics. They show kids how to float on their backs and tread water before introducing them to specific strokes, such as the backstroke or breast stroke. For those who have really taken to the water, they also lead classes that introduce kids to competitive swimming.
