Despite the name, Brazil Taco Truck doesn't operate out of a truck. And it doesn't just serve Brazilian specialities. Rather, it dishes out staples from all across Latin America from within a full-sized, completely stationary restaurant and bar. Cooks layer fluffy gorditas with cuts of salmon, wrap classic Honduran tamales in plantain leaves, and fill Mexican-style tacos with the likes of fish, shrimp, or pineapple pork. They aren't afraid to mix-and-match these culinary traditions, either. For instance, they blend Mexican and Cuban influences to create a burrito filled with the ham, pickles, and carnitas of a traditional Cuban sandwich. To help wash all this multi-cultural food down, bartenders pour glasses of wine and beer, as well as rustle up Latin cocktails such as caipirinhas and pisco punch.
