I had purchased the Groupon for Michaels as I had enjoyed their lunches in the past (especially the chowder) and it is near my friend's work place for her to join me. I went today to discover, much to my dismay, it's closure. We went to lion's head where the food was limited but very decent and the waitstaff very friendly. My only complaint "bring back the chowdah" . I hope they inherited the cook from Michaels
Michael's is CLOSED! Bought this and was disappointed. Had to go to Lions Head Tavern. Just an FYI!
It is closed/ out of business,,,, a dump an empty building.
Great food at great prices!
good food reasonably priced
Service was quick and friendly. Food was lacklustre. Greasy eggs. Greasy greasy greasy and overcooked, blackened sausages. Best part was the under toasted toast and the small slice of cantaloupe to cut the grease. Heard great things but far from It.
I go for the best burgers in town, very delicious and many variations. Staff is friendly and prices are fair. I'm not interested in the bar scene, so I go mid to late afternoon, never at night. The first impression is not good and the atmosphere is a bit dingy...some attention needed.
The service was extremely slow.
We waited over an hour for our food. I had to remond the waitress 3 times to bring our drinks and the eggs I had were actually BROWN in colour. I honestly could not eat it. If I had to pay the full price of $15 a plate I would be really more upset than I am now. I don't think I could ever go back. Seriously, when it was Captain Eli's I went there all the time. The food and the wait time was utterly disgusting.
