Q&A with the Manager
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
We offer community events, celebrations, and movie night where we offer food and snacks. People enjoy community gatherings.
What's the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
Students have said they have grown inches. Back issues have been resolved, knee problems corrected, and individuals have lost weight.
What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
It starts with vigorous standing poses, and inversions, then seated forward bends and twists and ending in reclining and relaxing poses.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Yoga is not only a physical form of exercise. It is also a spiritual practice that effects physiological as well as emotional well being. Yoga practice also effects cognition, memory and concentration. It reduces stress and improves blood pressure. It helps control weight and can be helpful for individuals with diabetes. Yoga helps individuals make better choices for themselves.
