Mac not th um buttermil buttermilk pie was terrible
not much in the way of atmosphere but quality food
Our first time there was not an enjoyable experience. The menu had half the items available and there was only one employee working which also took forever for us to get our food. Dessert was stale and served cold and all in all I would highly not recommend anyone eating here.
The concept is great but the execution not so much. The cheese sauce is plenty bland to begin with. The mix ins are great except that you can barely identify them in the mac. I got the pizza mac which was good on the very top layer, but once you get through the 4 pieces of pepperoni sitting on top, it's just bland mac. The mex mac had (I think I counted 4) jalapeno pieces and was supposed to have chorizo, but I didn't even find a hint of it. So when I didn't get a bite of jalapeno, it was just bland mac. The pizza mac should have pepperoni pieces throughout for sure. The mex should have noticeable chorizo and jalapeno.
Very friendly service, food was tasty and filling.
Had the bayou Mac and it tasted like straight crushed red pepper, like the top had come off the shaker and a whole bunch fell in.
My vegan Mac was not cooked through and the servers asked me everything I wanted on it instead of making it to the order specifications. Plus, the noodles were not cooked all the way. They were crunchy. --yuck--
Went twice and they were not open. Called them several times and their voicemail box was full. Finally I was able to get ahold of someone and got a mac and cheese and a chicken sandwich. The mac and cheese wasn't anything special (frozen one from Trader Joes is just as good) and the chicken sandwich had so little chicken in it, that we had to look for it! Won't go back.
Slow service for my 2 person party and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant and they'd already ordered. The seats are horrible and not inviting. Got to regular chairs.

Mix N’ Mac celebrates comfort food by cooking and perfecting one staple: mac ‘n’ cheese. Visitors are encouraged to customize their own bowls with a variety of meats, veggies, and housemade cheese sauces. Alternatively, they can explore pretested specialty mac flavors. Diverse influences collide in the specialty options, which include a chili mac and an italian mac with basil and marinara sauce. The cheese gurus also savor the opportunity to singe a few taste buds with a spicy mac that drapes pepper jack over jalapeños and a Cajun creation featuring crushed red pepper and crawfish. The colors of Mix N’ Mac’s dining room match their signature creation, with deep-orange walls, chairs, and pieces of art reminiscent of cheese and cheese’s original birthplace, the sun.
