Melt in your mouth filet mignon, other steaks fine, seafood?? not their specialty.
had the filet with garlic butter and the wild salmon. filet was tender and cooked perfectly. salmon was delicious on the grits and asparagus. would have been nice for some dinner rolls with that tasty garlic butter to go along with the steak and salmon. definitely would go back.

The shrimp & grits were good .. The steak, salmon and burger was good.. The chicken & pasta dish had very little flavor.... The servers were nice and attentive...

The staff was friendly. It's an interesting location. The food tasted good, though I would have enjoyed my shrimp and grits better if they were deveined before arriving at the table. Salmon was good, but small.
Table linens were all wrinkled and not ironed. Fried green tomatoes were tasteless and looked store bought. Berry spinach salad came with only craisins and very little spinach. Crab cakes looked store bought, green beans still had ends on them. Jalapeno Mac and cheese had no flavor at all. Chocolate cake was served very chilled. Room temp would have been nice. Lacked ambiance, and no music at all. Our waitress was great
Staff was very attentive. My husband had a filet and said it was the best (both flavor and the way it was prepared) that he had in years.
We had a delicious dinner there. Burger was a little well done but the trout was delicious!!

Old Orchard Tavern’s menu is as filled with adventure as the mountains surrounding the resort in which the restaurant resides.
