15 Minute Appointment. Upper Cervical Chiropractic care is a specialty within the Chiropractic profession that focuses on the proper alignment of the upper neck. Even though the work occurs at the top vertebra of the spine (C1-atlas), the upper cervical adjustment affects the whole spine and nervous system. It has proven effective at reducing or eliminating neck pain, as well as mid and low back pain. In fact, correcting the tilt, shift, or rotation of the atlas bone allows the body to heal and often eliminates many troublesome conditions.
30 Minute Appointment. No two people are the same. Therefore, no two people should have the same nutrition program. Sure, there are certain products, like a great whole food multivitamin, bio-available calcium or essential fatty acids, that provide "health insurance" for most people, but therapeutic nutrition is different. It is targeted to the individual and their specific and changing needs. Once initial assessments are made and areas of concern are identified, our doctor and staff pinpoint therapeutic nutritional recommendations. These include changes in your diet or lifestyle, in addition to the use of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other naturally occurring substances to improve your health. Great uses of therapeutic nutrition include managing and correcting irregular digestion, improving sugar cravings and hypoglycemia, boosting energy, improving skin and complexion, reducing risk factors for certain diseases and for use as treatment for particular disorders.

About Healthquest - Dr Chris Taylor
What differentiates us
Dr. Taylor's philosophy is is simple - provide the body with the raw materials and spinal corrections it needs to be healthy and let the body's wisdom do the rest. He is considered a wellness Chiropractic physician focusing on overall function and optimal health, rather than someone you only see when you are in pain. Unfortunately, less than 10% of the American population actually receives Chiropractic care, therefore, there really isn't a competition issue amongst Chiropractors, there is a broad-based education concern. Chiropractic care should be viewed like regular dental visits, something a patient does to maintain spinal and nervous system function and health through all stages of life. Given this approach, each patient is offered a free 30-minute consultation, which includes an overview of our technique and services, a brief examination and time to ask specific questions about their case. After a consultation is complete, our clinic only accepts patients that are candidates for Upper Cervical Chiropractic care and/or are ready to commit to healing using natural medicine options.
