Don’t be surprised if it takes a minute to find the entrance to Achille Italian Café and Pizza. Located on the corner of Eldridge and Enclave Parkways, this family-owned eatery has a small storefront in a large strip mall, which can be easily overlooked. Thankfully, Energy Corridor locals have passed the word around about this authentic Italian restaurant, hidden in plain sight for a decade. A full range of Italian seafood dishes, from fresh mussels to zuppa di pesce to linguini vongole, are served below framed photos of the owners and their children. Thin, stone-baked pizzas are sold by the slice or the pie. Achille is by no means fine dining, but there are several tables inside for a casual meal with familiar touches. Or, you can call ahead for takeout, and smile when one of the owners answers the phone to take your order.
