Really hit or miss experience. We were told it would take 20 minutes to make our on the rocks margaritas, so they brought us frozen ones instead, and they were awful - not a hint of triple sec. Guacamole was fresh but flavorless - we doctored it with the limes from our margaritas and a little salt, but it was seriously underseasoned and a very small portion for the price. The sides for our entrees looked like they'd been sitting in a warming pan all evening; they were still pretty good despite this, and likely would have been very good if we'd had them closer to when they were prepared. Amazingly, our entrees themselves were excellent; the chicken enchiladas were yummy, and the cheese sauce on them was first rate. The chicken flautas were handrolled, filled with a very tasty seasoned shredded chicken and cheese, and were piping hot when they arrived at the table. They also appeared to be very undert-staffed. I'd be willing to give them another go if I thought these issues had been corrected.

Consider a weekend happy hour during the slow lunch period. Consider serving lunch portions during the day on the weekend.

Don't play the news on television. It is depressing and doesn't create fiesta atmosphere.

From Our Editors

Frosty margaritas and mojitos extinguish the delicious flames fanned with each successive forkful of Fiesta Sombreros' traditional Mexican eats. Aromatic tendrils rise from sizzling skillets of fajitas and fillings such as beef picadillo and chicken guisado stuff into the tortillas of seven kinds of enchiladas. Sombreros, chili-pepper garlands, and maracas ornament magenta and blue stucco-style walls, which flank a mural of a Mexican street corner. A dartboard and pool table invite friendly competition as custom-picked tunes and the mating calls of a domesticated music machine stream from the in-house jukebox.
