Great museum, but they had so many areas closed either for construction or for additional purchase only. The biggest disappointment was that in order to see the Egyptian exhibit, an additional fee of $25 per person was required. I have visited numerous times and have never had to pay extra before this visit.

Best day ever

The dinosaur and animal section is our favorite area, unfortunately not many extra free exhibits to see this time around. We love it at Christmas time with the train.

One of the best afternoons I've had in a while. It's very humbling to be in the same space as pieces of actual history, not just the things you read in books. The butterflies were also very beautiful!!!! And there was an Iguana in the butterfly center. Plus, you can just go and see a show if you want to. I thought that was also kinda cool.

There was special exhibits of Bodies and Ramses (Egypt) but we had to pay separately (25-30$/person for each exhibit). We are a family of four so we decided not to pay for the special exhibits. The museum itself is somewhat interesting but it’s really expensive for what it is. We went to the Museum of natural history in Washington (which was free) and in New York and those were bigger cheaper.

The museum is amazing, very nice. Groupon made it possible, otherwise it would have been too expensive.

I absolutely love the museum! It's been a few years since I have been there, but it's as great as I remember, the exhibits were wonderful and I always discover new things.
