The experience of making the ice cream was different. Apparently, the mixing of the ice cream with the alcohol didn’t give it a full solid consistency, but the favors I mixed were delicious. The owner portrayed a nonchalant attitude once all the instructions were given, but considering we mainly swiveled the ice cream the whole time, it’s understandable. Kinda.

I did not redeem this groupon and then somehow it got marked as redeemed for yesterday which makes no sense I am very disastified

very unprofessional. Tried to make reservations but they never called back. Then when we finally did get reservations got 3 emails saying it was cancelled then it was back on then a confirmation so still wasn't sure if we had a reservation. People are rude. I had paid for a tasting but my friend got sick and they more or less told me tough and that they wouldn't refund my money. This is not the way to run a business and I hope they don't stay in business very long.

The Tipsy Dessert Bar was such a cute and fun place! I would recommend anyone looking for a fun experience to go and enjoy yourselves. The owner Brie was one of the coolest people my bofriend and I have ever met. It was so much fun!

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING A GROUPON FOR SERVICES OR SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT. There are only a few other reviews posted and all are raving about this business, however, this has not been the case for me and please take into consideration my experience to avoid this from happening to you. I purchased a groupon for two for an alcohol infused ice cream class as a surprise Valentine's day gift for my boyfriend. I emailed the Brigid, the owner, and scheduled an appointment for last Sunday, February 21st at 2 pm. I originally asked for 12 pm but she told me that class was already full. On Sunday, I received an email from Tipsy dessert bar at 11 am describing their March menu and stating many customers have chosen to postpone their reservation until March to try it. The email in no way stated that my appointment for that day was canceled. My boyfriend and I arrived at 1:50 pm to find the doors locked. I repeatedly pressed the intercom button for Suite 214B (which by the way says a real estate business on it), called the business phone number twice and sent an email stating I was there for my appointment and could not enter the building. My boyfriend and I waited patiently for about 30 minutes until, finally, an employee from a neighboring business arrived and allowed us into the building where we could see suite 214B was closed. He stated he had been there all morning working, left to grab a bite to eat and came back and that he had not seen anyone in suite 214B throughout the entire day. I was completely confused but my boyfriend reassured me that perhaps the owner had an unexpected conflict come up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt even though we did not see any other people arriving for the class which was also bewildering. I thought, "did she forget to tell me the class was canceled but tell everyone else with a reservation?" Flash forward to over 24 hours later and she finally responds to my email with, "I apologize. I have hired new staff and the system that I have merged to has made things confusing. Please let me know when you are able to come in and I will make all the necessary arrangements to be available." I promptly emailed her back about rescheduling for March. It has now been 48 hours and I have not received a response from her. This business owner has acted so unprofessionally and failed to make amends for a clear error on her part resulting in ruining a surprise Valentine's day and wasting 30 minutes standing around outside her business for a scheduled reservation. I cannot believe the frustrating and disappointing lack of customer service and complete disregard for other people's time and planning. I have contacted groupon about receiving a refund.
