I was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in, because it was aisle after aisle of someone trying to sell you something. Not shopping, pushing products on you, like the kiosks in the mall. None of the speakers that were on the website for Houston were there. No Home Depot workshops. Although they did have some makeovers and nail services, they had long lines. I'm angry that I spent money on this and it was nothing like it was touted to be.
For the ladies that are girly girls, its great. I'm not much of a girly girl. It was a little challenging for me because so many of the vendors approached me and I don't like that. I especially don't like being told to sit down to put creams on my face and then stacking the products beside me insisting I needed to use these each day. After declining the rep turned away and walked off like he was insulted. I probably will not go again.

We had the perfect girl's day! Inspirational speakers, shopping and trying samples of things we might not try otherwise.
Everyone is trying to sell you something! If you want to sample their product; they kinda frown at you (some of the Vendors) they just want you to buy something from them! I understand they're trying to make a living, we all are; but jeez!!!!
It seems to have gone downhill from previous years. There used to be more food and wine samples and better shopping. Now it's a lot of skin care products and very, very aggressive sales people. The lines for massage and make-overs are way too long. I did not enjoy it this year. I don't think I'll go back.
Not anything that I was expecting. Was more a place for any vendor to sell or promote. State Farm,Sky diving, Minute Rice, Beauty School etc.
i know this is for women, but there were too many cosmetic places. Need some more variety. Possibly exercise places, wine clubs, garden info, book club, etc.
It was a fun time, went with friends and enjoyed. The only fail in my opinion was the lack food choices and wine.
It was a fabulous experience, & I can't wait until next year's Expo!
I go every year, it is a great experience to get out and talk to people and browse the newest products and try them out.
