At the Via Colori Street Painting Festival, the pavement becomes a canvas. Artists decorate the streets with mural-like depictions of dancers, motorcyclists, and in one case, headphone-wearing dogs.
However, street art is just one aspect of the eclectic, two-day event, which benefits the Center for Hearing and Speech. Other events run the gamut from yoga sessions to a canine fashion show, complete with a pinot grigio tasting. That's not to mention the roster of live music, which keeps revelers dancing and smashing their air guitars all night.
