We had a great time. We would definitely do it again.
The manager was a fast double talker who was also extremely arrogant and rude! We went at one time, were told to come back later in order to accommodate our group and then still did not participate because the "zombie" had gotten injured during the original show we were supposed to be a part of. I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody, in fact, I am not sure how they received the favorable feedback on their page based upon our HORRIBLE experience! I asked for a refund and he gave me some crazy explanation that didn't really explain ANYTHING to me...I just hope Groupon will do the right thing and refund our purchase ASAP!
Experience was great. Much laughter !
The staff was awesome we had fun. Make sure y'all follow the instructions cuz we didn't and got eaten by the zombie
Great Time & Great people working there!!
Cheesy fun, but much better than I expected. This is a great way to spend any evening with friends or family.
It was fun!! The zombie in the room made it extra interesting. I wish they allowed smaller groups though, because I would have liked to go with just my group and not a bunch of strangers. It was also pretty difficult, so if you like a challenge it would be good for you!
Was this helpful?
Harder than we anticipated but enjoyed working with our large group to solve the quest. Groupon price made it well worth it. Full price would not have been a bargain. Actors were very personable afterwards. Escape room was very warm
Was a lot of fun and an awesome experience thanks to everyone at room escape adventures.
It was so much fun! You definitely have to work together to get out.
From Our Editors
Part reality game show, part suspense theater, Room Escape Adventures puts participants in a locked room laced with hidden clues and an actor whose character is central to the dilemma at hand. It gives players one hour to interpret clues, open safes, and answer riddles, which—if mastered in time—ultimately help them find the key and escape.
And while players have fun and work together against the clock, the staff at Room Escape Adventures analyzes the group’s communication skills, offering feedback at the end of the session.
Chicago escape rooms include:
- Trapped in a Room with a Zombie: As participants try to escape, the chain tethering a ravenous zombie to the wall loosens another 12 inches every five minutes.
- Back to the '90s: Thrown back in time to NYE 1999, players must help a forgetful computer nerd find the code capable of fixing the Y2K bug before the clock strikes 12.
