The service was slow. Then when we got it the hamburger was raw. The water had an awful taste. The manager did bring a bottle of bubbling water at no charge. Service was ok.
I didn't really like buying $30 for a use over two times because what if I really didn't like it and didn't want to go twice. Well that is what happened it was not the worst place to eat but it didn't knock my socks off. I don't want to go back. I will because I have another $15 group on. I have seen their Groupon offered many time. Unusual for a business to do it over and over. Tiny red flag but I thought I would try. Service was great. Chicken breast was tough and green beans were blanched and a bit crunchy with not much flavor. Hamburger was not bad but not to make me say wow I want to come back.
It is a little expensive but the food is very good.
We were there on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded. It was difficult to tell how many tables our server had to manage because she appeared to have tables in multiple sections. It took 10 minutes to get water to our table and about 25 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we received food. We were there a total of almost 45 minutes from the time we arrived until we had food. That's unacceptable. If the food had been terrific, I might have been ok with the slow service but the food was mediocre at best. Nothing worth a second visit.
Avoid the Cheeseburger Mac n cheese. It is nothing more than a hamburger patty laid on top of a bowl of fusili with almost no cheese. Completely flavorless. The fajitas were well cooked but also lacked flavor.
Expensive for the quality and amount
GREAT burgers very nice staff. Quick becoming one of our favorites.
I was very disappointed with the false advertising. You can only use on food purchases. Which, therefore, only gave me $10 off. This is advertising on groupons part.
From Our Editors
To craft their specialty burgers, the chefs at Detour American Grille first sear grass-fed beef sourced from Moody Meats in Ladoga, Indiana. They then layer the juicy patties with innovative toppings, such as peanut butter, fresh jalapeños, and locally sourced bacon, and send them out to sate diners' appetites. Their culinary expertise extends to a variety of gourmet sandwiches and contemporary American dishes, including grilled mahi-mahi and citrus chicken. Mac 'n' cheese is crafted with a blend of three cheeses, then showered with creative toppings like pancetta, Cajun spices, and blue-cheese crumbles. As diners await their meals, they can clink frosty beers from the bar and take in sports on the flat-screen TVs.
