Very small and still felt like a house, not a business. Seats uncomfortable, decor lacking.
The food is subpar though the sushi is okay, but our waitress was horrible and that was the worst part. We and another patron had to fight with her to even accept the groupon, she messed up our order and was sort of just mean.
Don't be put off by the location. The sushi was beautifully arranged and quite delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly as well.
This is one of the best quality sushi places to open on the Westside. The service is very good. Every time we have been there, the place has not been busy at all. More people need to be aware of this great little place. Prices are comparable to other sushi places on the Westside. I encourage people to give them a try.
Quality of food is excellent and prices are great!
It's a small place, but they have the best sushi in town. The Scotty is a must try!

6446 West Washington St. may technically reside in Indianapolis, but it seems like a gateway to the other side of the world. Here, Sushi Tori's chefs make broth from scratch for their pork ramen soup. They roll up sushi into individual bites, or fry up orange chicken. Even the barbecue sauce that comes with the chicken katsu—lightly battered chicken over rice—is Japanese.
It might take a while to decide on an entree, but patrons can relax as they peruse the menu, sipping on hot green tea and imagining tranquil Japanese rivers filled with wasabi. Of course, they could also just skip dinner altogether and order banana tempura for dessert.
