A pinch of Mediterranean. Equal parts Asian and Greek. A dash of soul for good measure. Though its recipe is far from exact, the Taste of Indy brings a spread of culinary traditions into one single celebration of food. The festival's edible offerings come from more than 40 of the city's most unique restaurants, giving visitors a chance to taste the city without licking the state capitol building. The idea is to promote good food and healthy living, something that the over 18,000 attendees from 2015 can attest to. As a distraction from the non-stop munching, attendees can catch live, local artists playing everything from R&B to reggae, watch chefs share their tricks during interactive demonstrations, and visit family-friendly attractions that keep even the youngest of visitors entertained.
