This was my second time going. it was great, the band, the music the food. the only thing i didn't like was last year if you purchased from groupon you also got 10 tickets towards food but this year it only covered entrance in. We had a blast!!!
About this Business
A pinch of Mediterranean. Equal parts Asian and Greek. A dash of soul for good measure. Though its recipe is far from exact, the Taste of Indy brings a spread of culinary traditions into one single celebration of food on Monument Circle Fourth of July Weekend. The festival's edible offerings come from more than 40 of the city's most unique restaurants, giving visitors a chance to taste the city without licking the state capitol building. The idea is to promote good food and healthy living, something that the over 12,000 attendees from 2016 can attest to. As a distraction from the non-stop munching, attendees can catch live, local artists playing everything from R&B to reggae, watch chefs share their tricks during interactive demonstrations, and visit family-friendly attractions that keep even the youngest of visitors entertained.

Great food ,great service
Had a great time but I would've spent more if I didn't have to pay to get in
No selection to speak of, poorly organized, dirty looking food trucks, no place to sit. Never going again.
Awesome family venue to go to! Food from a variety of cultures and activities for the kids. The rock climbing wall, balloon animals and face painting were a hit with my children. The live music was well organized with lots of seating. I took of a star for the lack of shaded seating as it was in the high 90’s and only event staff had shaded seating area. There was “one” fan blowing mist though.
The deal wasn’t all as good as I thought it was. Only paid for admission tickets and then you had to purchase tickets for the actual food stands inside. Came out to about $1= 1 ticket. Most things were at least 2-3 tickets, bigger meals were 5-7 and you got tickets in sets of 10. Spends really quickly and it is hard to try multiple items.
Taste of Indy was average. There was a good variety of foods at the event. That being said, the food was overall average in quality. The experience is pretty pricey. You have to pay to enter the event and the vendors charge on average 3 to 4 tickets (one dollar a ticket) for a small portion (or taste) of food.
I love attending the taste of Indy. I always have a great time.
Tickets were a good price !
Very nice!!!! had to buy more food tickets due to some stands took five to six tickets at a time so I would say just be prepared..
