Great!

It's an okay event because it gives you something to do. It's just not fantastic. You need to purchase tickets for all of the food and drink but you don't get a lot of food. I guess in that way it's aptly named "The Taste". I wouldn't go a second time.

Very disorganized at the entry gate. Mainly just food trucks versus restaurants like it used to be.

When we arrived to the event at 5pm, we were informed that a lot of the vendors had run out of food. It appeared that there were about 7 vendors left. The lines for each vendor were very long. We heard live music form maybe 5 minutes while we were there. We were really looking forward to this event, but were sadly disappointed.

The vendors ran out of food three hours before the event was to end, leaving no options for the people who purchased groupons.

There were lots of vendors to select delicious meals and desserts from. Also had the opportunity to sample hot sauces. My girlfriend and I had a great time.

It was terrible. We arrived with 8 children and 7 adults around 6:15 - 6:30pm. They were out of food.

Not enough variety of restaurants. Vendor out of food early.

From Our Editors

A pinch of Mediterranean. Equal parts Asian and Greek. A dash of soul for good measure. Though its recipe is far from exact, the Taste of Indy brings a spread of culinary traditions into one single celebration of food on Monument Circle Fourth of July Weekend. The festival's edible offerings come from more than 40 of the city's most unique restaurants, giving visitors a chance to taste the city without licking the state capitol building. The idea is to promote good food and healthy living, something that the over 12,000 attendees from 2016 can attest to. As a distraction from the non-stop munching, attendees can catch live, local artists playing everything from R&B to reggae, watch chefs share their tricks during interactive demonstrations, and visit family-friendly attractions that keep even the youngest of visitors entertained.
