it was small but we had a great time. I'm glad we arrived early because by 6pm most of the food vendors were sold out of everything. Also advertise more. I never read or saw any advertisements about this, i only heard about it through the Groupon.

They didn't have enough food vendors for the size of the crowd. They ran out of food.

I was hoping to see more of a variety of vendors. Also could have provided more coupons with the.deal since most meals were 5 coupons

There were not many food vendors considering it was "Taste of INDIANAPOLIS." It felt more like a corporate picnic or a rather large family reunion venue, not something representative of the city.

Not enough food vendors. Some food vendors left early when the event was supposed to go until 9p. Many people were walking out with extra tickets.

Great event. Hope it grows!

From Our Editors

A pinch of Mediterranean. Equal parts Asian and Greek. A dash of soul for good measure. Though its recipe is far from exact, the Taste of Indy brings a spread of culinary traditions into one single celebration of food on Monument Circle Fourth of July Weekend. The festival's edible offerings come from more than 40 of the city's most unique restaurants, giving visitors a chance to taste the city without licking the state capitol building. The idea is to promote good food and healthy living, something that the over 12,000 attendees from 2016 can attest to. As a distraction from the non-stop munching, attendees can catch live, local artists playing everything from R&B to reggae, watch chefs share their tricks during interactive demonstrations, and visit family-friendly attractions that keep even the youngest of visitors entertained.
