I felt it was mediocre sushi
Friendly staff and good sushi!
I had a horrible experience at Wasabi. The owner told me that Groupon forgot to add the stipulation that to redeem it I must have a party of 2 or more. This was not printed on the groupon so I did not have anyone with me at the time I chose to redeem it. The owner actually suggested that I call someone to come eat with me or to come back tomorrow (when the groupon was expiring). I attempted to get a friend to come, but was unsuccessful. After talking to the server, having to relay what the owner said (which should have been a private convo), talking again to the owner, discussing what I was going to purchase from her and if it would be worth while to her, she let me use the groupon.
only thing I didn't like was that you had to have two people to use the groupon
Thanks for a great dinner!
Best sushi in town. Good wine list too. Our kids love it too - they get the mango juice, steamed rice, miso soup, vegetable tempura, and cucumber roll.
I will never go back! The Manager told me a could not use the Groupon by myself even though I was going to spend $30 min. She was rude and did not want my business. She then said the exact same thing to a single women that sat down next to me at the bar w/a groupon!
Too many restrictions! A whole week before the expiration, you were prohibited from using the Groupon. Why wouldn't the expiration just be moved up a week? I, of course, visited on the last day of the "blackout" week. There was absolutely no reason why a random, non-holiday Monday was blocked; the restaurant was quiet and slow. Of course, I should have looked closer, but the manager wouldn't budge, and we were told AFTER placing a large order. If you are going to use a Groupon for your business, don't restrict customers with fine print. You lose, not attract, customers (including me). There are so many other delicious sushi restaurants in the area that put customer service first.
My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves for a dinner date here.
