I was excited to see that they were going to do an inspection AND a tune-up for my furnace. Unfortunately, there was no time up and the only thing he made better was my filter which he tried to charge me $30 for ($15 for a filter and $15 for a restock charge). I had them inspect my furnace because there was a little rust showing and he found lots of problems on my 4-year-old furnace. Waste of $.

I have used them twice to come and do maintenance on my furnace and AC. Both times they left telling me I needed thousands of dollars in repair and/or replacement. Do not recommend. Both continue working without any issues.

Nice people. I thought my ac unit was going to be cleaned - it was not. So I basically spent money to have someone come over and tell me what was wrong with my central air unit and that they could fix it for between $700 and $1800. They provided 3 options and it was a "today only" price, which sent up red flags for me. I also found it odd that they didn't clean the unit, which would help it run better. If you have Service Plus, add your ac to the plan - much less than joining their "club." But they were nice.

Andrew was very thorough but stayed almost 2 hours which was way to long. I always get the feeling technicians are always trying to sell you new furnaces or air conditioners.

I had Air tech out for a boiler tune up in Sept. They came out and inspected my system and told me it needed some updates before it could be tuned up. He gave me a quote which I thought was a bit high but I figured it needed to be done so I oked them to do the extra work. I at the time asked for a detailed bill of what work was being performed. They gave me a work order with the things being done and a price. No break down of what labor/parts were. I asked if there would be a detailed bill at the end they said yes, so i said go ahead. The tech was very nice and pleasant and did the work. It was then a couple weeks later when it started to get cold that I started up my boiler. I heard noise, which there was air in my lines. I called them back since I paid a lot of money $1200 for the full services the first time and their work is guaranteed. The same tech came out and bled my system again said everything looked great and I should be set up for the winter with no problems. Another week went by and it started to get colder. I noticed the noise had started again and was going to call when it stopped working all together. I called it in they did come out and a different tech spent about 5 hours trying to figure out what was going on. He had called 5 different techs because he couldn't figure out what the problem was. He then quoted me another $800 to fix it. This was the discounted price of $1000. He had cut wires to my relay to try and make it work and left my boiler not in a good state. I wanted to know how they could charge $800 for what I knew the parts only cost about $100. I sent them on their way and ordered my own parts. I received my own parts in the mail on Thursday and went to put them in when I discovered the cut wires, which made my relay and transformer ultimately not usable. I called back on Friday to see if they were going to remedy the cut wire situation. They said no it would be $800, I told them no and found a relay/transformer nearby for $80. I then ended up rewiring my boiler back together myself w/ the help of my neighbor. Needless to say when it was rewired, it was still doing the same thing. We found out the only problem was the thermostat!! A $24 dollar fix. None of the parts that I replaced actually needed to be replaced. My neighbor load tested the old relay, which was just fine! I was very upset. They then had the nerve to call me back on Monday and say they wanted to help me out and come fix it. I do not know for how much. I told them I had fixed it myself and would never use them again. They overcharge. I called another company that said the second fix would have only been about $275 in labor since i had all the parts. I told this second company the price for the first fix and what had been done and I got told I was overcharged for that as well. I was told by Air Tech when I called that the charges were a national average. Also that I was paying for the drug testing of their employees and their knowledge. I had called 7 times the first round to see if I could get a break down for my bill which they apparently do not do.

I used to be a member with them until they changed their rates. Well, now I am moving and needed an inspection and a fan cleaning. I saw them on groupon and thought, why not I liked them before. Well they inspected it and said there was a leak(even though it was dry) and it would cost about 300 to clean the fan. Because they came hours after our scheduled appointment(they did call and say they were going to be late) we did not have them service the fan or leak. Ended up going with a different company (the owner came, quoting over the phone 125.) WHen he got to my house he went over everything, said the fan was spotless and there was no leak and no reason to clean the fan. Wrote it all up. In my opinion, Seems like Air tech is trying to make money for doing nothing. They took my money, tried to get more for no reason, not to mention they are overpriced.

They are very expensive. They came to my house and charged me 234 to clean an inch of a tube that ran outside my furnace. Can't say that the techs had great customer service either. Will not be calling them back. I also have yet to get a detailed invoice of what they did I just got an invoice of what I paid.

They did show up on time. Told us that it would be thousands to repair our furnace. Said that it would make more sense to replace because it would be about the same cost.Pushed their service plan. We got a second opinion from a different company who stated that it looked like they didn't even open the furnace to clean and inspect it. stated that furnace that just needed one part replaced for $35.
