The eye glasses coupon is a false Groupon. They don't recognize it and the money towards the frams is a lie u still have to come out of pocket heavy. There is not discount. They jack the price of the glasses up leaving u to pay about $250 for ur glasses

Eye exam could not be completed in the first visit due to a malfunction with their machine. Came back a second time to a long wait. Now, have to inconvenience myself and gas money to complete their incomplete service. Definitely would not recommend!

With the groupon coupon I still wound up paying a little under $200..when I went in there I knew I had to pay extra but not that much and the frames weren't even designers..I think they should lower their prices a little so ccustomers can come back.

The eye doctor and the lady that helped me find a pair of glasses was very nice. The selection they give you for the groupon purchase isn't very nice but they have others to choose from out side the deal. The wait was very long.

I thought the coupon was for 25 dollar glasses but really I had to pay for the frame which was not stated until the end of the appointment and the lady knew it happens a lot and did not even mention it before!

Please be aware that they charge $150 for lenses so that only leaves $75 for glasses.

It seems like a scam. You're severely overcharged for lenses so you have no choice but to pay for your frames out of pocket which are also incredibly pricey even for no name frames. I wouldn't return.

The glasses were not designer glasses. They were the cheapest frames offered.

The service was excellent. Eddy is the best he explained and demonstrated to me how to use the reading lens without the lines. A+ to all of them.

From Our Editors

Back in the 1860s, a Swedish professor and eye expert named Herman Snellen devised a ratio to determine and express visual acuity—all using a simple eye chart. Today, the Snellen Chart, dotted with random letters of various sizes, hangs in optometry offices across the world, allowing docs to determine how well a patient sees compared to the “standard”—one who can see two chart objects from 20 feet away, or as we would know it, someone with 20/20 vision.

Like Herman and the doctors after him, Bronx Eye Care uses the Snellen Chart—along with a few more modern devices—to help prescribe the appropriate lens strength for patients of all ages. Once deemed far-sighted, near-sighted, or too cool to not own sunglasses, customers can peruse the clinic’s collection of frames by Gucci, Fender, and Prada.
