When Gus and Jimmy Shamieh founded the first CREAM ice cream shop in Berkeley, they aimed to recreate the delicious treats of their childhood. Their plan? Sandwiching rich, flavorful ice cream into the waiting embrace of two freshly made cookies. Clearly, their strategy paid off; today, hungry patrons across California and Nevada line up for desserts of chewy cookies and ice cream in flavors such as peanut butter, coconut, rocky road, green tea, and salted caramel. In addition to their signature sandwiches, each CREAM location also dishes out traditional cones, sundaes, and even sippable milkshakes.
