It's more of a bar with food than a restaurant. They do have a decent selection, but the quality was more bar like.

From Our Editors

A well-known restaurant in Jacksonville Beach, Land Shark Cafe is the ideal location for fabulous coffee. It's a favorite spot for visitors that want a flavorful meal.

If you're trying to plan your week, most folks will claim that Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are the best evenings to visit. Also, you'll definitely want to take advantage of its outdoor seating when you feel like soaking in some of that Florida sun. It should be noted that casual attire is encouraged. Also, with live music, the atmosphere is often reported to get a bit loud.

For those who are interested, the menu does feature vegetarian items and it's been tabbed as a good option for large groups. If you're in a hurry, you can always take advantage of the convenient take-out offerings. Or, if you're looking for a good spot to hit up after work, it's got a popular happy hour and pretty decent selection at its bar.

Specializing in both lunch and dinner, you won't walk away from Land Shark Cafe disappointed. The restaurant is easily reachable by public transit, and visitors who drive have access to a private lot nearby (or can park on the street).
