Though books should never be judged by their covers, Sake Sushi’s rolls have nothing to lose to the practice. Artfully plated around centerpiece garnishes, their exteriors impress diners as much as their delicious interiors. The maki menu includes everything from classics, such as a sweet-potato roll and a Philadelphia roll, to specialties, such as the butterfly roll filled with eel, crab, and mango pieces that the chefs catch in a net before the start of each shift. The culinary team also crafts traditional Japanese entrees, including hibachi-style scallops, vegetable tempura, and pork katsu.
