Licensed massage therapist Krissy Mays tends to tense muscles inside the Keller Center of Healing Arts, which features private treatment rooms and a peaceful, patina-green painting of Buddha. With training at the Upledger Institute, Krissy uses craniosacral therapy to buttress the body's natural healing process by aiming to relieve pressure around the brain and spinal cord. She also received advanced training in somato-emotional release therapy, an approach that can help recipients overcome traumatic experiences, self-defeating beliefs, and shedding tears after biting into an onion. When she isn't targeting the mind, Krissy addresses physical pain with massage modalities such as Swedish, reflexology, and prenatal techniques. In addition to sharing her knowledge through interfaith ministry and life coaching, she also participates in holistic workshops and events.
