When sisters Janette Zacharias and Carol Wirsz visited Florida in 2011, they each fell in love with the same thing: a self-serve frozen yogurt shop, where customers selected a flavour then loaded their dishes with as generous a swirl as they'd lke. After returning home, the pair set out to re-create the magic locally by partnering with Tom Ostoich, an expert on creating socially-responsible and healthy food. Now they have locations across the country, filling cups with flavours such as New York Cheesecake, Barista Coffee, Nutella, and Wild Strawberry Tart. Customers with dietary restrictions needn't worry: the menu includes options for those who eat gluten-free, dairy-free, avoid sugar, or can't eat something that isn't topped with gummi bears.
