The staff was very friendly. The course was short like most other reviews stated, which was not a problem. It was kind of nice to make a quick day of it. The course was under a lot of construction, the 2018 season should be looking good. A helpful tip that would have been nice to have, is that this is a dry establishment. No Alchohol sold or allowed on the course.
I give this course 4 stars based on the price. For the money, (we were playing 18/w cart for less than $20/person) it's a decent course.. not super beautiful, not perfect greens, but really decent for the price. We're just average golfers, so it works for us.
Short course with some challenging holes on the back nine. The ownership continues to improve the course each year!
Great value for the money the greens are in good shape and the course has been maintained. Always have had a good round and a good time there.
It's a great course to just go out and enjoy a day of golf. There are some pretty good deals now and the course is a lot better under the new management.
Rained heavy the night before but niot not terribly wet. Nice variety in terrain and distance. Saw some turkeys which is always fun to see wildlife. Would golf again without a Groupun.
This is a great quick starter course. It's perfect for me to teach my son how to play. It's short, but can be forgiving when needed. We like it!
Great staff. Some nice improvements being made to the coarse. Look forward to when it's done.
Just hope we can do it again
From Our Editors
With 18 holes clocking in at 5,227 yards total, Stormy Creek Golf Course is on the shorter side by modern standards—but that doesn't mean it's a walk through the park. While its length makes it a great choice for young golfers and seniors, its challenges keep even the most advanced players on their toes. Tree-lined fairways, rolling terrain, fast greens—they all add up to a tough par-70 layout that's tempered by the beauty of its location in the Plaster Creek watershed.
And to ensure the course is truly family friendly, Stormy Creek has adopted one of the fastest rising trends in the golf world: foot golf. This adaptation of the classic game replaces the golf ball with a soccer ball, the club with the foot, and the golf bag with pants, challenging players to kick with accuracy as they try to sink their ball in an oversized hole.
