ESG stands for Entertainment Sports Grille, and Ray’s fulfills the component parts of that initialism with a full slate of electronics, events, and bar-style food. The space morphs into a dance floor on nights with live entertainment or music or a venue for an impromptu talent show during karaoke extravaganzas. In addition, pool tables, high-definition TVs, and tripwires attached to hidden T-shirt cannons keep sports fans entertained as they tear into decidedly American fare from a menu highlighted by loaded nachos, flame-cooked Angus steaks, and a pulled-pork platter served with hush puppies and slaw. The chefs also build pizzas designed by guests, scattering toppings such as fresh basil, jalapeños, smoked cheddar, and banana peppers.
