Since 1946, Kendall Family Farm has produced corn, soybeans, wheat, and sunflowers from its plot of land in Central Indiana. Today, in the hands of a third generation, the farm is also a source of lifelong memories. That's because it transforms into a place of adventure come autumn, when other families flock to the Kendall's farm to enjoy an array of seasonal activities. Here's what you can expect when you stop by:
Corn Maze: Spread across five acres, the farm's massive maze takes about 45 minutes to complete. Its theme is in memory of the late Verlin "Keith" Kendall, a WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient who ran the farm for more than four decades.
You-Pick Pumpkins: The farm's two-acre pumpkin patch is home to pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Plus, all children who visit the farm head home with a small pumpkin as a souvenir.
Adventure Hayrides: Families can also hop on the farm's wagon and ride around the property, soaking up the sights and sounds of the season.
Kids Corner: Last but certainly not least, the farm's Kids Corner features activities for kids of all ages, including a miniature straw-bale maze, barrel rides, and a corn-filled sandbox.
