From Our Editors
Film festivals are glitzy way to network with industry peers and discover new talents. But they also feature overpacked schedules of screenings, parties, and waiting in lines. Attendees are spread so thin that many only get to see one to three films—not a great return on an investment that can reach thousands of dollars. That's why Film Festival Flix makes the thrill of filmmaking available and affordable to the masses. Much of its offerings take place online: users buy festival passes to view films on demand, 24 hours a day.
The organization also hosts a social community and live special events, where members engage in a diverse roster of activities and panels determine which films have earned awards. The festivals have focused on horror, adventure films, and challenging indie movies.
