Great piece of history in Lake George There are some great stories the guides can share. The fort is pretty large and authentically replicated. There is space for people to spread out and learn on your own, too. There are spectacular views of Lake George. You could spend 2-3 hours here with kids. Plan to get there as the tours start so you don't have to wait for the musket or cannon demos.

We enjoyed our visit here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially the man who served as the tailor. We liked talking and listening to him. It was nice that we could come and go and even go back for a second day if we wanted.
