When Kyra Bussanich had to switch to a gluten-free diet because of health concerns, she feared that she'd no longer be able to enjoy cakes, scones, and doughnuts. But then she attended Le Cordon Bleu's patisserie program, where she learned to turn those classic baking techniques into delicious gluten-free recipes. Today she shares her gluten-free treats at Kyra's Bake Shop, which specializes in cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other pastries that are 100% gluten-free. As evidence that gluten-free sweets can taste just as good (or better) than the traditional recipes, Kyra's Bake Shop is a three-time winner of Food Network's popular show, Cupcake Wars.
