I would definately recommend AAMCO to other peope for brakes or other repairs. The brake special was a great deal but people need to kep in mind that Rotors & Drums would be an additional cost. I happened to have a check engine light and they were able to get the repair done at an honest price.

Got my rear brakes done. I was told they don't do brakes on Saturday so I had to leave the car there all day on a weekday, and couldn't just wait there until it was done.

Extra work needed. Representative explained thoroughly and answered all questions regarding details of the recommended work and willing to discuss and explain pros/cons of other options in an open and non-defensive way. Work done to my satisfaction.

Personable and AAMCO educate you of needed associated parts and work. In other words they won't let you leave and an associated part brakes that is next to the replaced parts. Be prepared for an all day (8 hour) wait if using a groupon.

Coupon price is for lower quality brake pads. I opted for better pads so total cost was 65.00 more. Still a good deal at 120.00 compared to 200.00 at dealer.

From Our Editors

AAMCO Transmissions and Auto Repair's locally owned outposts dot cities and towns from coast to coast. Since AAMCO opened 50 years ago, its transmission masters have extended their range of services to the realm of total car care, offering cars with faulty brakes, dirty oil, or broken air conditioners some one-on-one time with a handy mechanic. This commitment to full auto health also underlines AAMCO's promise that every vehicle receiving service is privy to a free multipoint inspection, during which mechanics explore beneath the hood, under the car, and in the GPS navigator's psyche to ensure safe operations and optimal performance.
