The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The booking on Groupon was easy, the contactless check in was simple & Check out was a breeze. It was a distance to walk to our room, but it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this location.

noisy and underwhelming The biggest issue I had was that everything everywhere was noisy. Trying to eat in the food area was super noisy walking past the bars was super noisy. The hallway where my guest room was had a super noisy ice machine and vending machine. The HVAC and Plumbing in my room was super noisy. My sleep was terrible partly due to the noise and partly due to the worn out bed. On the Casino floor many of the dealers were Gruff and a little bit rude. I'm not sure if that was intentionally to replicate New York City but it wasn't appreciated.

No thanks, very disappointed Avoid! Charged almost $400 Australian on top of what we already paid for accommodation! (Apparently a lot of hotels here do this) This is for WiFi, pool, gym. Fridges removed from most rooms & no tea/coffee facilities so that you spend, spend, spend in cafes and restaurants in the hotel. No soundproofing in rooms, kept awake by people talking, TV's and people in the corridors at all hours. 2 coffees & 1 bun was almost $30 Australian. We were not aware of any of this, so just letting others know what to expect. Everything reeks of cigarette smoke, even whilst your eating as no designated smoking areas so smoke wafts everywhere. Sadly a very negative experience that will never be repeated. Vegas itself is amazing, just not the hotels.

Nice Hotel We unfortunately only had 1 night to stay in Las Vegas. The New York Hew York is nice. Our room was very nice , clean and comfortable. I found the multiply restaurant options to be very reasonably priced. They have warnings in the room not to smoke in the room and our room did not smell of smoke. I imagine the the hotel tries to keep the common areas free of smoke but being a casino I imagine it's impossible to get rid of all the smoke. I smelled it as soon as I entered the hotel. My eyes and nose burned. I'm not sure they could do anything about it short of making it a non smoking hotel but they are in the business of making money and people gambling do smoke. I will stay at the New York New York the next time I go to Las Vegas
