Led by executive chef and seasoned culinary coach Beverly Lee, Senses! helps kitchen novices and skilled cooks alike increase their cooking savvy with an array of fun, engaging classes. Chef Bev engages students in an interactive environment, performing demonstration-based classes for hands-free learning, while hands-on classes make good use of limbs recently replaced with meat thermometers. Cuisine apprentices can soak up stewing, searing, and saucing skills from seminars on international cuisine, healthy cooking, gourmet cooking made easy, and more, before feasting upon the final product. All sessions include tutelage on concocting a savory two- to three-course meal, a pair of spiffy signature Senses! chef's aprons (yours to take home), and a professional menu with step-by-step instructions. While all necessary cooking equipment and ingredients will be provided, students should plan to bring a pen and paper for jotting down helpful recipe notes and tips for destroying meals that become self-aware.
