My experience with South Bay dental Center was not a pleasant experience. First of all I did not receive all of the services that were listed on the group time. The staff was pleasant however not very competent in the performance of their duties. First of all I have my teeth x-rayed and the young lady was having a problem capturing the x-rays and she had to retake images several times. Secondly, when I was summoned back to the full mouth x-ray machine the staff person had a problem getting the machine to function, I had to wait back in the initial exam room while someone came in and operate the machine, in the meanwhile another staff person came and re-x-rayed my teeth because he said the images did not come out correctly so that was redone. After she had completed redoing my x-rays someone was able to do the full mouth x-ray and I had that done. After these procedures were completed a young lady who I believe was an assistant or hygienist went over my exam she attempted to upsell me with deep scaling, and I told her I would consider it however I was just there for the general cleaning x-rays and exam, and to speak to the doctor for an overall assessment of my mouth. I never got to see the doctor, I never got a consultation, I did not get my teeth cleaned, nor did I receive a cancer screening for my mile. And the groupon it stated”that I would receive a one-hour exam and cleaning with an ultrasonic scaler in addition to screening for cavities in addition to an oral cancer screening at no cost and the services were to be rendered by Dr. Sunen Pandya, I never got to meet the doctor nor any doctor at the dental office he never came in or introduced himself to me and I did not receive any of the services that were supposed to be rendered a sonic coupon therefore I would rate my experience on a scale of 1 to 10 a value of 1, I believe that the group on was issued to upsell, and bait and switch. I was pressured to have additional work done and schedule for deep cleaning without even seeing the doctor or having the general cleaning done my diagnosis was not done by the dentist nor did I speak or talk to the dentist I do not even know what he looks like. I find this to be unprofessional and I immediately canceled the second cleaning that I got it for my son and I will not do the whitening treatment that I had purchased. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone I know.
