After leading workout sessions in her home's spare bedroom and boot-camp routines in her garage, certified personal trainer Kelly Heaven created Burn Fitness to showcase her fitness expertise in a boutique-style setting, accented by bold colors and an ornate black chandelier. Along with expert instructors, Kelly leads small groups in nine types of classes, demonstrating modifiable moves so that guests of all experience levels can participate at their own pace. Each session sizzles off the calories on gleaming wood floors in the vibrantly colored industrial studio, whose assemblage of cycle bikes, BOSU balls, and Richard Simmons chia pets beckon to energized physiques. Burn Fitness's schedule fits at least two classes into every day of the week, and as parents work out, employees can supervise youngsters 2 months old and older ($2/class for each child).
