Wonderful place for children to learn how to swim. They loved going there! I appreciated how small the class ratio was, giving my children direct attention.

I'm extremely impressed with the instructors! They are so child-friendly and fun! The water is nice and warm and the temperature in the pool area is tropical, so my 5 year old isn't hesitant at all to jump in. I just wish their regular price wasn't so high, because we definitely couldn't afford to take lessons there without Groupon.

The front desk is ran by several teenagers and they don't seem to make the customers a priority. My first appointment there were three girls at the front desk none of them acknowledged me when I walked in and I stood there and had to ask them how the process works. The teachers are very friendly and give good feedback to the parents after each class.

So far my kids are enjoying their lessons. I wish it was more affordable to be able to keep them in lessons there. They have learned a lot in the short time there.

Swimming lessons are great; however, I would like to see an improvement in the administration part of this business.

From Our Editors

A 36-month-old strokes his arms through clear water as his mother gently holds him afloat with her hands. Over the past few swim sessions, the little student has learned to submerge his face in the water and float on his belly as well as his back. After he and his fellow swimmers finish their parent/baby swimester, it's likely they may never experience the fear of swimming that many children begin to encounter around age 3. This type of insight into the developmental importance of swimming is what informs the instruction at Swim-U, Leesburg's child-oriented swimming school. The school's curriculum opens its lessons to newborns as young as 6 months old and to kids up to age 12 to instill water skills and the joys of fitness swimming from a young age. The Swim-U team comprises upbeat swimming professors who are the brains behind the company's special brand of instruction in swimming, as well as in child CPR and first-aid training and dunk-tank pitching.
