You might not expect to see a personal chef on the staff roster at a gym. But Food and Fitness isn't exactly a gym. A more accurate descriptor for Food and Fitness might be personal-training studio with an emphasis on nutrition. That's why Chef Mike Moreland seems like a natural addition to its staff. Along with founder Tony Paradis, who is a registered dietitian and personal trainer, and a team of two other trainers, Chef Mike works to reinvent diets in a healthy, realistic way. Tony helps prepare a set of nutritional guidelines for each client, and Chef Mike comes to their homes and teaches them how to enact the plans. Paired with personal training, the fresh dietary regimes help recipients shed pounds.
